It features a resilient 3mm Chromoly steel face, hot-rolled for elasticity, and consistent ball speed across the entire face. Coupled with 35g of tungsten, which is strategically positioned low behind the impact zone, the PI-402 delivers effortless launch and supreme stability. 

A defining feature is the new KISSAKI SOLE, an advanced camber sole engineered to balance effective bounce through contact. With a maximum sole width of 22mm, it complements a wide range of swing paths and attack angles, enhancing forgiveness on off-center strikes. Drawing from “Kissaki” (切っ先), the precision tip of a Japanese sword, this sole geometry optimizes turf interaction for all swing types. 

In comparison to the PI-401, the PI-402 features a more compact face length and increased heel height, yielding a sophisticated, classic look at address not often seen in this category.
